Sorry for not updating this sooner, but I've been overwhelmed with homework and ...fun stuff.
Thursday I visited Canyon High School after my classes. I drove Chase to L&L for lunch and then headed over to Edwards Cinema to watch Transporter 2. He had free tickets...I love to mooch. The movie was really good, except for the random, fake-looking scenes. haha. It was action packed...but still the best part about it was that it was free. Later that night, after Uprising...which will end this week :( Hazel, Matt, Erin, and I went with Sara to watch her old hip hop crew practice. They were pretty good! 97% of them were Asian, 3% white. We watched people teach choreography to the rest of the group and they all learned it SUPER-FAST! It was fun...and they all loved Sara...screaming her name when we arrived. But who couldn't love that Sara Ray? right?
Friday night I went with Jen Pen and Kevin to "Concert Under the Stars" at CSUF. It was SO fun! First, we bought lots of popcorn chicken and biscuits... the perfect meal! Then we went to CSUF and parked and pulled out the sleeping bag and blanket and food...so we were going to walk a LONG way to the field to find a place to sit and then this guy (Tom) in a golf cart drives up and he asks "do you guys want a ride?" YES! Apparently, he thought that Jen was limping and needed assistance hahahaha. So we rode to the field while everyone that was watching us kinda snarled and gave us dirty looks because we got to ride and they didn't. He drove us onto the grass and over to a really good spot to see the stage. WE LOVE TOM!!!! The concert was put on by the performing arts and it was all pretty much vocal. Some of the songs were hilarious! One song was about this girl, Erin's, love of food. hahaha. The general theme though was patriotism, and the spokesperson recognized all armed officers of the U.S. Jen, Kevin, and I snuggled up on top of a sleeping bag, under a blanket so we'd be cozy. The concert ended with an AMAZING fireworks show! It was SO BIG and the fireworks were so close to us,...and the finally was INCREDIBLE. I've never seen so many sparkles or lights at once before!
After, I headed on over to Vy's house for her birthday. Happy Birthday Vy! She just turned 18! I got there when people started to leave :( Well, at least I was there, right?
Saturday I went to eat at a family friend's house for lunch to celebrate moon festival. Then at about 5 o'clock I met up with Dan B. at the brea mall to go eye-shopping...I really don't have the cash to spend right now. Then he and I went to the Festival at the San Antonio Catholic Church. It's like a carnival, if you didn't know. There we met up with Natalie Chung, who chilled with us until her posse arrived and later that night Dan, Frank, Patria, Michelle, and I went to Abner's house to play pool, and watch Paparazzi. He has the most awesome poodle, and a pet monkey!!! It's SO cool. I want one!
When I got home, I got the wonderful chance to talk with Joanna on the phone and see her on my webcam. That girl is just too pretty. I miss her SO much! I can't wait till I go up there in October! I think I'm going to buy my tickets today.
Sunday I wrote a 5 page paper on Anaheim Hills and how it relates to America based on observations.
Now I'm off to school. I might update tonight, depending on the homework load that I have. Bye!
