So here are a few weird things that I learned about diamonds in my geology class.

Diamonds are made of carbon that has been bonded together under extreme pressure (example: when carbon is smashed between two of the earths plates). Graphite, another mineral made from carbon could be turned to a diamond under high pressure. It's been done. Oh, and diamonds don't last "forever." Diamonds are slowly breaking down and will eventially become graphite because they aren't under emmense pressure. However, it takes about a million years for that to happen...essentially, that seems like forever. Now here's for the REALLY weird deal. People have been made into diamonds! WTF! right? Well, when someone dies and then gets cremated, the remnants are carbon. Then a loved one with a lot of money can pay to have the dead loved one's ashes pressurized into a diamond! In a way I think that this is cool, but then again I think that it's some sort of sick idea. Can you imagine wearing your mother on your finger as a ring? Wow, I just think that that would be WEIRD... Oh and then what if someone stole your ring? or you lost it? ...OMG I don't know how bad I would feel. "I lost my mom!" "Someone stole my dad!" "I dropped my dog down the sink!" All of this because someone thought it would be cool to make a person's ashes into a diamond.... Well, that's something to ponder.

I've seen Kristen, Joanna's "sister" at CSUF 3 times in the last 2 days! Once, when she was buying make up for theatre. Again later, when she was wearing it after class -she was a skull!-. And then again today when I was leaving to go home, she was walking to class. Crazy huh? Oh, and I also got to see Diana Tran, from uprising. This was the first time that I saw her at CSUF. It's really awesome when you see someone that you aren't expecting to see, because the school is so big.

At work today, the office manager said that I am now the "marketing guy." I don't know what that means...but THAT'S what I am. But, I'm still the file clerk at the same time.

Now I'm off to Boba Joe's to chill with Kevin and get my free boba and crepes. YAY!
