GUESS WHAT! I beat my record in being late to my Geology class. Before today, my record was 50 minutes late to that class. Today I was... 74 friggin' minutes late to my 75-minute Geology class. So after waking up super late and getting ready, driving there, parking, and walking, I made it to the last MINUTE of class. Well, hey, at least I got to turn in my homework. So... it wasn't a complete waste of time. ahaha.

good news... I got my car back! It's hot... The only thing that sucks is that since one of my lights didn't smash in the accident, they didn't replace it. So, one of my headlights is like WAY clear-new and the other is foggy-old.

But, I got it back!!!

YAY!

I stayed up until 3AM last night, or rather this morning, writing a paper on American Dating Rituals... not fun. Well, at least I had Joanna on the webcam to keep me sane.

Today we're gonna be carving pumpkins at the TTF meeting!!! I'm WAY excited, mostly because I'm organizing it, but also because it reminds me that Halloween is so close. Monday is halloween! Can you believe it? I think that Kevin and I are still gonna try to do SOME sort of halloween get-together this weekend. But, we're definitely going trick-or-treating. But what should we dress up as? hmmm? We could always be ghosts...(people with sheets over our heads) because that would simply be the easiest costumes.

So what is everyone else dressing up as? Pimps? Gangsters? HOs? Ninja Turtles? ...Think of the possibilities. haha.

I hope I get my car back from the collision center today!!! I miss driving. I feel hopeless without a car. AHHHHHH! Today...hopefully. I'm crossing my fingers.

So I just got back from my awesome trip to Berkeley. I loved it! I got to see my Joanna, most importantly, and I got to see many of my other friends too. I saw Jessica Chen pretty much as soon as I saw Joanna. haha. Then I saw Risha as I was meandering around campus. She was like "JAAAAAAY!?" It was crazy just to run into her on such a large campus. Then I met up with Miguel for lunch and such. When I got back to Cunningham -Joanna's dorm- with Joanna, Vivienne came to visit with her randomness. Later that night I saw Karen Chan at the movie...Wedding Crashers. There's nothing better than seeing people you miss that you haven't seen in ages.

So here are some of the things I did in Berkeley:

BART

Met Joanna's floormates and roomate. Specifically Kinndy, Alex, Kai, Nate, and others.

Ate at the Crossroads Dining Common, Venus, some PHO place in the "asian ghetto," Blondie's Pizza, Crepes A GOGO, and Top Dog. The food in Berkeley is GOOOOOOD!

Smoothie from the "Den."

Boba from Sweetheart Café.

Watched Wedding Crashers in Wheeler Hall... campus movie.

CAL vs. Washington State football game. INTENSE!!! CAL won 42 to 38! GO BEARS! I LOVE CAL BAND!

Walked on Telegraph street.

Found out that I am Taoist, according to an online quiz.

Gave clothes to homeless people in Peoples' Park.

Watched Joanna's dance rehearsal for The Movement.

Had the time of my life.

I loved my CAL trip, mainly because I got to see and spend time with my amazing girlfriend. I loved it!

Joanna, thank you for being the best girlfriend I could ask for. I loved every moment spent up there with with. I hope to do this trip again sometime. I love you SO much.

SO as always... today, Tuesday, is my busy day.

7am-8:15am Geology (Midterm today)
9:15am-11:15am State Farm Insurance work
11:15am-12pm Haircut
12pm-1pm Get reference for History Essay
1:15pm-3pm Board of Directors Meeting
4pm-5pm Begin 3 page essay
5pm-7pm Honors Spring Regestration Party
7pm-9:45pm History of Jazz -MUS302
10pm-whenever. Finish History Essay

SO busy today...ahhhh! I've realized that it gets a little complicated at times, balancing school, 5 clubs, 2 ASI board positions, a job, and a social life. One word: coffee.

Count down to Berkeley: 2 days!!!

Okay okay...so "the daily read" has turned into more of a "monthly read." And for that I apologize. So what the hell has happened in the last 2 weeks, right? Well here it is:

Kevin's birthday. Laguna Beach. Fixed computer. Lost cell. Found cell. Became "Student at Large for the University Affairs committee of ASI. Became Publicity Co-Chair of ASI's Titan Tusk Force. Crashed my car. Titan Tusk Force Potluck. Knott's Scary Farm's Halloween Haunt with Kevin, Jen, and Cheryl. Wore retainers 24/7. Beach Clean-Up at Long Beach. Hard core studying for the Geology midterm. The end.

I'd have to say that it has been a pretty monumentous past 2 weeks. From bonfires at Laguna Beach, to almost totalling -possibly actually totalling- my car, to Knott's...it's been great.

3 days until I'm flying up to Berkeley to see Joanna! I'm stoked! Yup, that magical flight leaves at 11:25 AM on Thursday from the John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana. Last call to anyone that wants me to bring stuff to Joanna. Just drop me a line.
